“What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see
And I look upon His face, the One who saved me by His grace.
When He takes me by the hand and leads me through the Promised Land.
What a day, glorious day that will be.”

Happy Thanksgiving!!

“Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.”

To canvas it goes…

For quite some time, I have been wanting to print my photography. Some people prefer,  the classic framed and matted photography, while others, like the modern wrapped canvas look.  Well my preference, is the wrapped canvas. So I am going to place my first order coming up here soon. And I have chose to use this picture as my first order-Wrapped&Canvassed!

{I have had some requests for prints of my photography. Although I don’t have a “setup” right now to take your order, I would be happy to work with you and get further details of what you may want. Feel free to email benson_sarah@rocketmail.com}

{Farewell dear Emily…}

Emily had come back here to South Dakota, for a few weeks.
Although we didn’t get to spend near enough time together, it was so wonderful just to have her nearbye again.
But at last today, she had to go back to South Carolina…to her new home.
You know, goodbye’s only get harder for me lately. I thought things, should get easier when you do them over and over!? {grin}
{love you emily}

{Leveling trees}

The chainsaw broke through the peaceful morning in our neighborhood yesterday.
As the neighbors around us tell eachother “here the Bensons go again!” (for those of you who don’t know what I mean- Well we seem to have this tradition, that whenever we have a “project” on our hands something happens.)
No, the electricity wasn’t cut on our block this time, and thank the Lord we didn’t have the fire dept. over. But I was a little nervous at how anxious dad was to get in the back yard with his chainsaw:)
Kelly ended up coming to help, dad too. {kelly having more experience with a chainsaw}
Dad was relieved:)
All that to say, we actually still have a few trees left in our back yard, and everyone still has fingers and toes.

I just keep TRUSTING!!

“I just keep trusting my Lord, as I walk along. I just keep trusting my Lord, as He gives a song. Though the storm clouds dark in the sky, over the heavenly trail. I just keep trusting my Lord! He will never fail!” He’s a faithful friend! Such a faithful friend! I can count on Him to the very end!”
